Penis Size Studies

Scientific Studies:A variety of medical research organizations have conducted scientific studies. In these studies the penis length was measured in 3-ways: (1) stretched, (2) erect, (3) functionally erect where the ruler is pushed to the public pone (pubis), which negates the variations based on fat pad depth. The only study to use all 3 methods was the 1996 California study by Wessells. This study concluded that stretched length and the erect length were virtually equal. The LifeStyles survey is among the latest of the controlled studies. In this study about two-thirds of the 300 college-aged men’s erections ranged from between 5.1 (13 cm) and 6.2 (15.7 cm). The average erect penis had a girth of 4.972 (12.6 cm). About 75% of men had a girth between 4.5 (11.4 cm) and 5.5 (14 cm). Interestingly enough in this study, while the average length was a bit shorter, the average girth was larger then in the Internet studies. Internet Studies: JackinWorld is one Internet source that culls their submissions in an attempt to eliminate those that are incomplete, duplicates and frivolous responses. Still, one must remember that as with all Internet studies, the participants report their own measurements. JackinWorld in both a 1999 and 2004 study reported the average adult male penis as 6.2 inches (15.7 cm) long. JackinWorld noted that: “This study suggested that ages 16, 17 and 18 were most likely to exaggerate their penis size.” Perhaps at that age we are just so horny that for 3 years all of our blood is rushing to the little head. Then our pumping hand takes enough breaks for our brain to function and the big head drains a bit of the blood off. Study Comparison Medical vs. Internet: A guy’s penis size is an inherited trait. If your father or grandfather your chances are greater of also being blessed. Likewise, if your ancestors were at the back of the line when the genes for penises were passed out, maybe you deserve some reparations. In our family I think our ancestors were about mid-line. As Levi Strauss says, ‘It is all in the jeans.” |
