Abstinence: An individuals calculated decision and deliberate action to refrain from sexual activities, including but not limited to sexual intercourse, oral sex, anal intercourse and mutual masturbation. In some cases, the decision is only to not engage in penetrative sex.

Abstinence until marriage: The practice of abstinence from sexual activity until a man and a woman are united in the covenant of marriage.

AC/DC: An individual that enjoys the outlets or inlets of either sex for sexual purpose, see Bisexual.

Active: The aggressive sexual partner

Agate: A small penis but still a jewel that is big enough to polish and enjoy spelunking.

AIDS: (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) an advanced stage of infection with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) in which the immune system is weakened. The individual becomes more susceptible to a variety of infections (called opportunistic infections) and other conditions, such as cancer.

Anal sex: Sexual activity characterized by anal stimulation or penetration with the penis, finger, objects, lips, mouth, or tongue.

Analingus: Kissing, licking and penetration of those puckered anus lips and their surrounding territory with the tongue

Angel: A male who pays for sexual favors

Anus: The opening to the rectum

Around the world: The act of kissing the entire body as a sexual prelude

Asexual: Absence of sexual feeling

Bonkers: Female breast.

Candidiasis: A fungal infection that occurs when the normal environment in the vagina changes. It is an RTI and is not sexually transmitted.

Castration: Surgical removal of the testicles

Cervical cancer: Cancer of the cervix is caused by infection with certain types of the human papillomavirus (HPV). Early diagnosis of precancerous changes can prevent cervical cancer.

Cervicitis: Inflammation of the cervix, often caused by chlamydia or gonorrhea infection. As with vaginitis, cervicitis can cause vaginal discharge, although the infection is often asymptomatic.

Cervix: The lower part of the uterus that protrudes into the vaginal canal allowing for the passage of menstrual flow from the uterus and passage of sperm into the uterus.

Chancroid: A curable STI that affects both males and females, chancroid usually causes lymph node swelling and painful ulcers in the genital area.

Change of luck: Bye-bye virginity, I just got a piece.

Chaste: Engaging in the most ordinary sexual activities

Cheat: Be unfaithful to ones regular sex partner

Cheeks: The fleshy portions of the buttocks

Chicken: Young attractive male without many feathers.

Chlamydia: A curable STI that affects both men and women, chlamydia is often asymptomatic. Chlamydia infection can lead to serious complications, including infertility.

Circumcision: The barbaric, cultural or religious act of cutting off the prepuce, or foreskin from the males penis.

Clap: Gonorrhea or other venereal disease. Not something you should applaud over.

Climax: Achieve the high point of sexual activity; refers to ejaculation by the male and a time for applause.

Clit: A little pea sized organ that makes a gal sing, see Clitoris

Clitoris: An erectile, hooded organ at the upper joining of the labia that contains a high concentration of nerve endings, sensitive to sexual stimulation.

Closet queen: Male homosexual who hides his desires for other men

Cock: That organ guys crow about called the penis; in some locals refers to female vagina

Cocksucker: One who performs oral sex.

Cockteaser: One who gets the guy hot and horny and than does not carry on with actual sexual relations

Coitus: Sexual intercourse.

Coitus in ano: Anal intercourse.

Coitus interruptus: Withdrawal of the penis prior to ejaculation.

Cold: Sometimes called a dead fish, an individual that is unresponsive to sexual relations.

Come: Achieving sexual orgasm.

Condom: A flexible sheath that is a couples best buddy (usually made of thin latex or polyurethane) designed to cover the penis (male condom) or vulva/vagina (female condom) during sexual intercourse for contraceptive purposes or as a means of preventing STIs.

Continence: To refrain from sexual activity.

Cornhole: To perform anal intercourse.

Corona: A Mexican beer, also a rim of flesh around the base of the penis head

Cowper’s glands: Two pea-sized glands located at the base of the penis under the prostate that secretes a clear alkaline fluid (pre-ejaculate) into the urethra during sexual arousal and before orgasm and ejaculation.

Crabs: Lice that infect the pubic area of the body.

Crotch: The genital area juncture of the thighs with the body.

Cruise: To travel in search of a sex partner. A cruise liner is not required.

Cum: Semen.

Cunnilingus: Oral sex performed on the female genital.

Cunt: Vagina.Cytomegalovirus: A common virus (a member of the herpes family of viruses), which can result in serious infections in people with compromised immune systems. It can be transmitted sexually.

Dry fuck: Moving ones genital area against each other’s clothing. Does not cause pregnancy or loss of virginity.

Easy:

Ectopic pregnancy: Ectopic pregnancy occurs outside the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tubes. It is a potential complication of untreated chlamydia or gonorrhea.

Effeminate: A male that acts in a feminine manner.

Ejaculate: Release of semen.

Ejaculation: The moment when rhythmic contractions of the urethra results in semen being discharged from the penis.

Engorged: Filled with blood.

Epididymis: Two tightly coiled tubes against the back of the testes where sperm are stored and mature until they are released during ejaculation.

Erection: The firm and enlarged condition of a body organ (e.g., penis, clitoris) when the surrounding erectile tissue becomes filled with blood.

Estrogen: A sex hormone produced in the ovaries that stimulates the development of secondary female sex characteristics and plays a role in puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and contraception.

Eunuch: A male that has had his nuts surgically removed; see Castration.

Exhibitionist: Individual that derives sexual arousal by displaying his body to others.

Fairy: Male homosexual.

Fallopian tubes (oviducts): The egg delivery system in the form of a pair of tubes located at the top of the uterus, extending from the upper uterus, out toward the ovaries (but not touching them). Unlike truck used at the chicken ranch for egg transportation, the ova (eggs) travel through these tubes from the ovaries toward the uterus in which fertilization of the ovum takes place.

Fetish: Any part of the body or other object that is usually considered nonsexual but arouses erotic feelings.

Fifth wheel: A heterosexual in a homosexual group.

Fish: A female.

Flagellation: A whipping or beating to sexual orgasm.

Foreskin: A retractable tube of skin on the penis that covers and protects the glans.

French: To perform oral intercourse.

Fruit: Male homosexual.

Full house: Having 2 or more STDs at the same time and certainly not as much fun a poker.

Genital warts: Warts brought on by infection with HPV (human papillomavirus).

G-spot: (Grafenberg spot): A small area about the size of a green garden pea on the front wall of the vagina that is especially sensitive to sexual stimulation in some women. It may also be the source of a small amount of fluid ejaculated at orgasm.

G-string: Small brief worn over the genitals.

Gumma: A soft, tumor-like growth of tissues, which appears during tertiary syphilis. This growth can occur in the brain, heart, liver, testes, skin, and bone.

Horny: Highly aroused and in need of sexual release.

Horse around: Explore sexually without engaging in intercourse.

Hot pants: Sexually aroused.

HPV (human Papilloma virus): A viral STI. Some types of HPV cause genital warts. Other types of HPV can lead to cervical cancer.

Hung: Having a large penis.

Hustler: Prostitute that searches for customers.

Hymen: A fold of thin, fleshy tissue that stretches across part of the opening of the vagina in some women.

Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV): An STD that causes inflammation of and prevents drainage of the lymph nodes in the genital area. LGV can cause destruction and scarring of surrounding tissue.

Mons pubis: In women, a pad of fatty tissue located over the pubic bone that protects the internal sexual and reproductive organs.

Mother-to-child transmission (MTCT): Transmission of infection, typically HIV, from the mother to the child during pregnancy, labor, or delivery or through breast-feeding.

Oral sex: Sexual activity where the mouth of one individual connects to the sexual organs of another person for the purpose of sex.

Oral-anal sex: Oral stimulation of the anus or rectum. See, cunnilingus and fellatio

Orgasm: The fourth stage of the sexual response cycle, characterized by the peak of sexual tension, resulting in release of tension through muscular contractions of the uterus, vagina, anus, and pelvic floor in women and contractions of the urethra, anus, and pelvic floor in men. Orgasm in men usually triggers contractions of the ejaculatory duct and prostate gland, causing semen to be expelled from the body through the penis.

Ovaries: Organs located at the end of each fallopian tube that produce the ova (eggs), which are released during the menstrual cycle. The ovaries produce sex hormones responsible for the development of secondary female sex characteristics and sexual function.

Semen: The fluid produced during ejaculation of the male.

Seminal vesicles: The pair of glandular sacs that secrete approximately 60% of the fluid, making up the semen, in which sperm are transported.

Sex: 1. The innate characteristic of gender, male or female. 2. The sexual urge or instinct as it manifests itself in behavior. 3. The act of sexual intercourse.

Sexual activity: Any activity that includes intentional sexual contact of the genitalia, buttocks, breasts or other areas of the body for the purpose of sexual arousal.

Sexual anatomy: The structure and organs that make up the genital tract of males and females.

Sexual behaviors: The act of (touching, kissing, and other stimulation of the body) related to the expression of one’s sexuality.

Sexual health: Women and men’s ability to enjoy and express their sexuality free from the risk of STDs, unintended pregnancy, coercion, violence, and discrimination. The capacity to have an informed, enjoyable, and safer sex life, based on mutual respect and a positive approach to sexual expression.

Sexual intercourse: Sexual activity that involves penetration of the vagina or anus.

Sexual practices: Activities related to sexual expressions that are customarily or consistently performed.

Sexual purity: Refraining from all sexual activity prior to or outside of marriage. Practicing monogamous sexual activity with one’s spouse

Sexuality: The giving and receiving of sexual pleasure, as well as enabling reproduction. Sexuality is a total sensory experience that involves the whole mind and body and not just the genitals. It is a reflection of the total expression of who we are as human beings. Sexuality is shaped by our physical appearance, beliefs, emotions, personality, likes and dislikes, values, attitudes, behaviors, and spiritual selves, as well as family, cultural and societal relationships.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs): Infections passed from person to person by sexual contact, although some can be passed on by other means (e.g., through needle-stick injury or other blood exposure). Also called Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

Shoot: To achieve orgasm.

Sixty-nine: Genital oral intercourse performed by two partners on one another.

Skene’s glands: Two small glands near the urethral opening in women.

Smegma: White waxy like matter which collects under the foreskin of the penis

Sodomy: The insertion of the penis into the anus.

Spelunking: Slang term for entering the penis into a warm moist cave.

Stud: A male who is greatly desired as a sex partner.

Swingers: Individuals that swap sexual partners.

Swish: A male who behaves in a feminine manner.

Switch hitter: Bisexual.

Syndromic management: An approach to STI/RTI management in which diagnosis is based on the identification of syndromes (combinations of the symptoms reported by the client and the signs the health care provider observes).

Syphilis: A curable STI that affects both men and women. Initially causing sores on the vagina, penis, anus, mouth, or lips. The sores will heal by themselves, but if untreated syphilis can lead to advanced stages that may damage the heart and nervous system and can lead to death.

Paired organs in the scrotum that produce sperm and male sex hormones.

Testicles: See testes.

Testosterone: A sex hormone that is responsible for the development of male secondary sex characteristics and for the sex drive (libido) in men and in women.

Third sex: Homosexuals

Tongue: (Verb.) To perform oral sex.

Toolbox: The male genitals.

Trade: A passive male prostitute that caters to homosexuals.

Trichomonas infection: A curable STI that affects both men and women. Trichomonas infection often can be asymptomatic. Among women, it can lead to vaginal discharge, infertility, or early labor in pregnant women.

Trick: A sex partner for money.

Duct which carries urine and semen.

Urethritis: An infection among men characterized by urethral discharge or pain upon urination. It is usually caused by STIs, such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomonas infection.

Urolagnia: Sexual pleasure from watching another drink urine.

Uterus: A hollow, thick-walled, pear-shaped, muscular organ found between the bladder and rectum. This is the site for implantation of the fertilized ovum (egg), the location where the fetus develops during pregnancy and is the structure that sheds its lining monthly during menstruation.

Vaginal discharge: A symptom of some STIs and RTIs.
