Anal Sex

Anal Sex

There are religious, moral and social issues that involve anal sex and some individuals struggle with these issues. Some people find anal sex absolutely repulsive to them. Others work through these issues, give it a try and find that they may or may not enjoy it. Some individuals and couples practice one or more forms of anal sex as part of their regular sex routine and find it very gratifying. Anal sex can be practiced solo, with a partner of even with a group of individuals. As with masturbation an individual can perform it with a finger, hand, or sex toy such as a dildo or vibrator. As with other sexual practices, an individual should not be forced to participate in it. Adults that enjoy anal sex should not be denied the right to practice it with another consenting adult.Anal sex can add some variety to a couple’s regular sexual routine. Anal sex can be introduced in a number of ways, such as starting with a finger or tongue during oral sex. Anal sex is usually part of a couple’s sexual activity and not necessarily the main ingredient.

All sexual activity involving the genitals or mouth carry some risk of transmitting a sexually transmitted disease. There is evidence that participants in anal sex are at greater risk of transmitting STDs such as gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis and HIV the virus that causes AIDS. Therefore as with other forms of sex you must take precaution unless you positively know that your partner is safe.

Analingus (Rimming): the licking or placing the tongue in the anus to provide oral sexual stimulation. To reduce the risk of transmission of an infection both pre-anal hygiene and good oral hygiene after sex are extremely important.

Fingering: The insertion of the fingers.

Fisting: The insertion of the hand, or even the forearm into the anus.

Anal Intercourse: the penetration of the anus with the penis, dildo, or vibrator.
