When a couple is looking to add some variety to their sexual practice they may want to try anal sex. Yes, both heterosexual and gay couples do participate anal sex and these practices range from the finger and tongue to an erect penis, dildo or strap-on.

The first anal sex for some couples may be no more than a finger inserted in the rectum. A man may be curious about experiencing prostate stimulation or what it feels like to insert his penis in his lovers ass. His partner may want to know if her love partner will enjoy prostate stimulation with her g-spot toy as much as she enjoys using it on herself. Regardless of the reason for trying anal sex there is nothing wrong with this practice as long is it is done safely between consenting adults.

When practicing any sexual activity and this includes not only those that involve the genitals but also the mouth, there is always some risk of transmitting a sexually transmitted disease. There is evidence that participants in anal sex are at greater risk of transmitting STDs such as gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis and HIV the virus that causes AIDS. Therefore you must take precaution unless you positively know that your partner is safe and in today’s society few of us can be that sure.

The following tips will help protect both you and your partner:

Use Protection: Always use a condom. If you want extra safety, heavier duty condoms designed for anal sex are available and these may offer more protection. Use a water-based lubricant such as KY Jelly. Lubricants other then water base can result in condom damage.

Cleanliness: Make sure that the anal area is clean. It is advised that the bowel be empty for an empty bowel will reduce the risk of the receiving partner passing feces during anal sex. A condom will help keep feces from being passed but it alone does not take the place of extra cleanliness.

Relaxed sphincter muscle: The receptive partner must learn to relax the sphincter muscle. Relaxing this muscle will allow for safe and comfortable penetration of the penis, fingers or toy through this ring-like anal muscle. Forced penetration may tear the sphincter. A tear or other damage to this area can result in severe pain and fecal incontinence.

Use Lubrication: For safety, some couples will have the receiving partner apply a lubricant to their own anus. Some insertive partners will place a condom or glove over a finger before applying lubricant to their partners anus. Run the lubricated finger around the anal canal while gently stretching it. Start by inserting a single finger and slowly increase the fingers until you are inserting the approximate thickness of the erect penis or sex toy to be used. Some couples will use a butt plug, small dildo or vibrator prior to insertion of the penis while others will insert the penis as soon or in the case of a strap-on as soon as the anus appears to have sufficiently relaxed.

Do Not Use Force: The insertive partner should never use force. Very gently insert the penis or toy into the anus. If the receiving partner says stop or shows signs of pain make sure they are ready and want to continue. Never force your partner to receive against their will. Once inserted the insertive partner must control their thrusting so that the receptive partner has sufficient time for the sphincter to relax.

Know Your Partner: At Ask Uncle Terry we talk a lot about safe sex. We started this discussion by discussing protection and we are going to end it that way. Know your partner for bacteria, HIV, HPV, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis C and E-Coli among other things that you do not want can be passed with anal sex. If you are unsure of your partners health either forget the anal sex or make sure you are using both common sense and protection.

It has been a while since last sharing this article on the male g-spot. I wrote this article some time back and realize that many other sites have since used it. If you have questions about the male g-spot and have not read it I hope you enjoy it! In an episode of the animated sitcom Family Guy, Peter has a checkup by Doctor Hartman and receives a prostate exam. The exam was not what he expected and he thought that he was being raped. The episode was hilarious to some, disgusting to others and yet to others it pointed out the importance of prostate health. For many men their only experience with their own prostate has been this exam. In truth, the discovery of this hidden golden nugget often referred to as the “Male G-Spot,” is highly rewarding and stimulating once a man can get over his hang-up of being touched in that area.

For centuries the elusive female G-spot has made its way into our sex lives. For most couples, the man has always put attention on the woman’s erogenous zone, hoping to strike gold at some point during the act. Of course this makes most partners weak in the knees, if the infamous spot is found. As a result, the woman is pleased until orgasm and wants to return the favor. Ironically, the majority of men flinch, perhaps thinking about a prostate exam or tar instead of mining for gold at the mention of their own G-spot being stimulated. Unless the man is willing to charter unknown territory, the butt area is usually off limits.

For most men, the prostate gland, also known as the male’s G-spot, is often a touchy subject. For many men, even touching near the anus may make them question their sexual orientation. Anal sex is neither a gay nor straight activity, it is a stimulating sexual activity that can be enjoyed by all. At Ask Uncle Terry men will email us about their hang-ups with anal sex. Many of these men find the idea of it scary or even repulsive. However, we also hear from men that had their prostate stimulated for the first time and many report that they experienced an intensified orgasm like never before. Once it is tried, chances are the man will look forward with great anticipation to the next visit. Best of all a stimulated prostate is a healthier prostate.

For women who do not know where the g-spot is located, the prostate gland is a small gland located between the testicles and the anus. It is actually within the perineum, which means that when you rub this gland, it will make men moan with excitement. When inserting a finger or a sex toy into the anus, this gland can be stimulated until orgasm is reached. Although orgasm can be reached in dozens of different ways, this kind of stimulation is much more intense and overwhelming.

If you build up the courage to try this new sexcapade, or your partner is willing to dive right in, be sure to use an ample amount of water-based lubricant. For long nails, cleanliness, or if you are not in a monogamous relationship, or there is any question as to STDs or HIV a glove or condom should first be placed over the fingers. Once you are ready, your partner should cover their finger in the lubricant and slowly insert it into your anus. The prostate is about two inches upward and forward. If the man is a little squeamish the finger does not have to be fully inserted. The area around the opening of the anus is full of nerve endings and provides stimulating sensation on its own. Although the sensation may feel strange, it will become more intense as your partner starts to feel around.

In order to increase your desire and anticipation, your partner should very slowly insert their finger or toy allowing the sphincter muscle to relax. This will not only avoid discomfort, it will also allow you to enjoy the moment. Once that golden nugget “G-spot” is located, you will be shocked to realize what you have been missing out on all of these years! It is often an incredible feeling, far more intense than any other sexual position.

If you are still wary of even asking your partner to act so kinky, you can have them just rub the outside of your anus. Even by touching it lightly, your nerve endings are still stimulated. For men, their genitals and the overall region are extremely sensitive, thus resulting in mind boggling convulsions that could last for minutes.

Regardless of how embarrassed or nervous you are, it is actually exciting to go outside of the box and try something new. Far too often men are too worried about being laughed at to try something so kinky and taboo in today’s society. However, if you have an open-minded partner and stop caring about other people’s perceptions, you can easily enjoy the secret side of sex. Check out AskUncleTerry.com for more information on sexuality, foreplay and both the male and female G-spot.

Summary

Uncle Terry discusses mining for the golden nugget of men. The prostate gland, also known as the male’s G-spot, is often a touchy subject. For those willing to experiment, this hidden treasure will provide a highly erotic and stimulating experience while improving prostate health.

You bet there is. As a male we can become aroused with the flash of the eye a simple sight, sound, smell or touch. We see the face of the one we love or have a sexual thought and BOING! we are ready to go. This is especially true in the midst of puberty, adolescents and as young men.

As we think back to our developing years we are perhaps reminded of some very embarrassing moments. We are reminded of those times we saw an attractive girl walking up the school corridor or some other triggered thought or site resulted in a mammoth, unwanted erection. Way to often it seemed to occur when we didn’t have a book or jacket to cover that bulge in our pants. Over time the frequency of that spontaneous erection will likely decrease but even as older, mature adults us males will still have these experiences.

The first step toward sexual satisfaction is arousal. At times though is seems that the male and female bodies were not developed to be in sync. As men we are so often ready to put the roast in the oven before the oven is preheated but women are not built that way. For women sexual arousal is a slower, more unpredictable, complex and sometimes-difficult process. Not because women have different and some how less adequate equipment from men but because women think differently from men.

Generally a man is not looking at the big picture but is focused on the here and now. A guy may have just failed the most important test of the semester, lost his job or been kicked out of the house but at the time those are minor nuisances to his need for sexual satisfaction. If sex is on his mind that is the only thing that seems to matter at the time. For the woman sexuality is linked to everything else in her life: her emotions, stress levels, feelings about herself and her surroundings. And no less are her feelings about the man she loves.

For the woman it is the big picture that counts. Most women find it difficult to separate one aspect of their lives from another. In fact, women are well known for their ability to devote their energies and emotions to several things at once.

To allow the oven to heat a woman needs to let go of the big picture. As a man we need to take a step back and show our tenderness as we give her the time she needs to feel in the mood. We need to keep in mind that while men block out other thoughts, women consciously and subconsciously process a lot of information en route to arousal. This isn’t to say that a woman runs through a lengthy checklist in her head it simply means that a woman needs time for the big picture to narrow down to the pleasures of the moment.

Depending on what’s going on in the big picture, this process can take just a little time or quite a lot of time. The wise male, who is already aroused and ready to go, will control himself and give his partner the time she needs for the oven to warm. Keep in mind you can have hot and quick sex that leaves you satisfied momentarily – or you can go with the slow roast and enjoy delicious, juicer sex that will be longer lasting and have your woman coming back for more.

This is not a joke or a scam, if you are unemployed you may qualify for that little blue pill for free. Pfizer the pharmaceutical company the maker of Viagra is offering Viagra free for the unemployed. And not only are they offering free Viagra free they are offering a list of 70 free drugs such as the cholesterol controlling drug Lipitor painkiller Celebrex.

So what is the catch? To qualify you must be a US resident that has lost their job after January 1, 2009. You must also have been using Viagra or other drugs you request for at least 90 days prior to your job loss.

Company executive Jorge Puente stated, “We all know people who have been laid off recently and have lost their health insurance, making it difficult for them to pay for healthcare.”

For Pfizer the decision is not all about patients it also reflects Pfizer’s concern for the bottom line. When people lose their job they need to cut costs, which may involve switching drugs to a different brand. By giving away some the drug for a limited period, market analysts say Pfizer will keep patient loyalty to its brand during hard times.

The program officially begins July 1 and will run through Dec. 31. Those who want to see if they qualify can call 866-706-2400. The application is on Pfizerhelpfulanswers.com.

It has been reported that the penis of the Florida alligator has been getting smaller and smaller. Unfortunately it has also been reported that this same phenomenon has been happening to men worldwide. So what do smaller penises have to do with man boobs anyway?

A major reason that penises are getting smaller is because many men are badly in lack of testosterone, the kind of male hormone that makes a man a man.

Testosterone can:

1. Improve and enhance sexual performance and promote libido

2. Stimulate better and bigger muscle growth

3. Improve energy levels

4. Build stronger bones

5. Enhance clarity of the mind

These are all characteristics of youth. As men grow older, they’re more and more deprived of such “Fountain of Youth.”

With insufficient supply of the “King of Male Hormone” in the blood, men are always found to have more estrogen in the blood instead.

Estrogen is the main female hormone, a small amount of which men naturally have as part of their genetic makeup. But too much of it in men’s body isn’t good news though – even for women, excessive amount of estrogen is known to cause cancer and other health problems.

When men have more estrogen than testosterone in their blood, they’ve become more women than men, literally speaking. They have also turned their pecs into breasts, thus the manifestation of “man boob.”

Excessive levels of estrogen also cause an extra layer of skin of fat to be formed under the skin, which hides muscle definitions altogether and makes the body look “doughy” and more “round-shaped,” not to mention the gradual growth of the “pecs-turned-breasts” until they resemble that of a woman’s.

However, it’s not difficult to regain a man’s virility though when measures are taken to lower the level of estrogen in the body.

Here are some suggestions:

1. First, have your doctor run a “total estrogens” blood test to know where you currently are and where you should be going. Try to maintain a ratio of at least four parts testosterone per one part of estrogen, with the best ratio being 8 to 1 respectively.

2. Once such a baseline is established, steps are to be taken to reverse the hormonal sabotage inflicted upon the body by those environmental chemicals which are well-known for disturbing the natural balance of these hormones.

3. Eliminate pesticides from drinking water.

4. Ensure to wash and clean fresh produces well before eating.

5. Remove visible fat from meat that are not from organically raised animals before preparing them for food.

6. Avoid processed carbohydrates as they cause the body to release excess insulin when consumed.

7. Eat vegetables high in fiber for better regulation of the bowels because the longer they stay in the body, the more estrogen is absorbed.

8. Eat hormone-free food and meats from free range animals whenever possible.

9. Cut back on alcohol to ensure better function of the liver so it can remove excess estrogen from the body ASAP.

Follow all the above steps you will likely loose a few pounds as an added benefit and quickly turn yourself back from being “a man of breasts” to “a man of muscular pecs with the added benefit of a penis that at least looks larger as you will loose the fat pad around it too.”

Unknown to most men, Puboccocceygeus (PC) muscle plays a very important and vital role in enhancing men’s sexual response. During an orgasm, the rapid contractions of the PC muscle is what makes men feel those joyful moments of “jolts and spasms.”

Since men are so much into working out nowadays, why not put more emphasis upon exercising the PC muscles which, as a result, make erections harder, orgasms more intense, and premature ejaculation disappear altogether.

It also improves the overall prostate health level to such an extent that those annoying nighttime bathroom visits can be effectively cut down, or simply eliminated for good.

To make it easier to understand, the PC muscle is divided into the “front” and the “back” part, both of which are to be “sexercised” in order to bring forth such desired effectiveness as mentioned before.

To find the “front” muscles, let’s imagine we’re “holding our horses” in the middle of the urine stream. Focus our mind – and thus our feeling – onto the “withholding” part while making sure to relax the stomach muscles as well as the buttocks or thigh muscles.

Once we “get” the feeling, begin squeezing those muscles to the count of four, and then relax them also for a count of four.

Initially, the ability to hold the squeeze will last no more than one to two seconds, but when due diligence is paid and this “sexercise” is performed on a regular basis, the ability to squeeze to the count of four or even higher will be easily attained.

Performing this “sexercise” up to five minutes twice a day will ensure better performance to be experienced during sexual activity.

To find the “back” part of the PC muscles, do another kind of squeeze as if you’re trying to prevent passing gas. Do this five times while making sure to relax after every squeeze. Make sure also not to squeeze the thighs, butt, and/or abs muscles – just focus on squeezing the PC muscles instead.

Do this “sexercise” for the back muscles for 30 to 50 reps in fairly quick succession three times a day.

Stick with this “sexercise” regime for at least six weeks to make sure that a good squeeze on the PC muscles can be easily performed any time.

Some men will claim they don’t feel anything at the beginning of this “sexercise” regime, but given time, almost all will be able to have such a firm grip of this good “squeeze” that their sexual performance will never be the same again with this simple mastery of “squeezing the PC muscles.”

Genital Herpes is a sexually transmitted infection caused by a virus. Herpes can be transmitted by direct contact through oral or genital sex. Occasionally a person without symptoms such as a rash, sores or blisters has been known to pass on the virus.

If you have come in contact with someone with herpes it takes about two to twenty days before the symptoms appear. You can develop a rash, sores, blisters, fever, pain, burning urination or a tingling feeling. Your lymph nodes could be enlarged as well.

The sores will take one to two weeks to heal and the virus will stay dormant in the body. Recurrences can happen when your immune system is compromised, you have a fever, are out in the hot sun and get a sunburn, poor diet and stress. A warning sign of an impending break out is tingling.

The two most common types of herpes viruses are type one (HSV 1) and type two (HSV 2). The HSV 1 is usually associated with oral herpes such as a cold sore. Often times children will pick up the type one virus in childhood and can or cannot have breakouts of cold sores for the rest of their lives. This type (HSV 1) seems to be more acceptable in society versus type 2, which is genital herpes and is sexually transmitted. Many people do not realize that oral sex while infected with type one herpes such as a cold sore, can infect a person in the genital area. This ignorance has led to the spread of this virus.

Herpes can be diagnosed by a physical exam from a doctor. Swabs usually taken from the sores will indicate what type it is. One complication of herpes is that the virus can be passed to a newborn baby, if the mother is active.

There is no current cure for herpes. It is usually treated with oral medication. The medication will help to lessen the symptoms and shorten the time the virus is around. There are ointments as well that can help to ease any discomfort from the symptoms. If urination causes burning and discomfort, you can urinate while in a shower. Keep the area very clean and dry and always wash hands after touching an infected area as it can spread to other parts of the body.

Do not participate in sexual relations during an outbreak and always have your partner wear a condom to decrease the chances of contracting the virus. Be honest with your partner about your herpes. They should always be told. Inform your doctor that you have herpes if you become pregnant.

Socially this condition can make it awkward when dating, but many people have gone on to get married and live very fruitful lives. There are herpes organizations in almost all major cities, so Google “herpes organizations” in your city for a support group to help get you through a new diagnosis of herpes.

In my day there was no sex education in the school system. Many kids became pregnant in high school due to a lack of knowledge. Parents were very uncomfortable with discussing this subject.

Today most schools have health programs in public schools where this subject is addressed. Knowledge in contraception is important and can help to decrease unwanted pregnancies.

One of the most common methods of contraception is the birth control pill. It is very protective against pregnancy if taken consistently and correctly. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. The pill can also help to regulate your period and can decrease menstrual bleeding and cramps. If you suffer from acne the pill can also help with this as well. Many people still use a condom along with the pill to protect against sexually transmitted diseases. To use a condom as the sole method of contraception could be risky.

Vaginal spermicides are foams, creams, jellies, etc. that are inserted into the vagina just before sex. They should be used with another method of contraception, as using spermicides alone is not as effective in preventing pregnancy as the pill. Using a condom with the spermicide can increase protection.

The diaphragm is a dome shaped latex disc and is used with a spermicidal cream/jelly. It is placed in the vagina in front of the cervix. It acts to provide a barrier by preventing the sperm from going through and the spermicide destroys the sperm. It is inserted one hour before intercourse and should remain in place for six hours after intercourse, but no longer than twenty four hours. Insertion can be challenging with this method.

The contraceptive sponge is another method. It is a soft round piece of polyurethane foam containing three different spermicidal agents. It can stay in the vagina for up to twelve hours. The sponge absorbs and traps the sperm while the three agents kill the sperm. It also acts as a barrier for the sperm to get through and cause pregnancy. The sponge can be expensive.

The intrauterine device or IUD for short, is a small plastic and copper T shaped device that is inserted by a doctor into the uterus. The device prevents the sperm from joining with an egg and / or prevents the egg from implanting on the wall of the uterus. When someone wants to get pregnant the device is simply removed. Periods can sometimes be heavier and more crampy with this method.

Depo-Provera is a hormone injection containing a hormone called progestin. It is given every twelve weeks to prevent pregnancy. It works by stopping the ovaries from releasing an egg each month and thickens the cervical mucus making it harder for sperm to pass through the cervix (opening to the uterus). This method is quite effective in preventing pregnancy.

The contraceptive ring (NuvaRing) is a clear, soft, flexible non-latex ring. It contains a combination of estrogen and progestin (female hormones). It is placed in the vagina and slowly releases the hormones. It works by stopping the ovaries from releasing an egg, thins the lining of the uterus making it harder for the egg to attach to the uterus and also thickens the mucus in the cervix making it harder for sperm to pass through.

The methods above are a very brief synopsis of the methods available for preventing pregnancy. Your doctor will want to examine you and do a history before deciding which method is best for your situation. Hopefully this has given you a glimpse at methods available. These are the most common methods of birth control, but there are others. Please seek medical help for more details about contraceptive methods.

Rape generally means forcing someone to have sexual intercourse. Naturally this is considered a crime. What many do not know however is that there is a need for many of us to change our concept of rape. Some people still maintain the stereotypical idea of rape in their minds, and immediately imagine a scary-looking guy pouncing at a woman walking all by herself in a dark deserted alley. Although this is of course still considered a description of a rape scene, there are other scenarios where rape can occur.

A good-looking, well-groomed person who you may already know or are familiar with even to a minimal extent can perpetrate rape, and rape can happen not in a dirty alley, but even in a tidy apartment or room. As long as the element of forced sexual intercourse is present, the incident is considered rape. A person therefore, who goes out with someone with the intention of having a few drinks and some fun and then is later forced to have sex is considered a victim of date rape. This means a boyfriend, an ex-boyfriend, a friend or an acquaintance can perpetrate date rape. Incidentally, women are not the only victims of date rape. Men can become victims too, although there are more female than male victims.

Date rape is not a new phenomenon and has actually been happening to a lot of people. The only reason the statistics are so hard to pin down is that there are some victims who simply do not report their ordeal. Sometimes when you’re on a date with someone and you’ve had a few drinks and then had sex after, the details become blurred. Victims of date rape, even when they feel or express that they did not consent to the sexual act, may think that they were partly responsible for what happened because the intercourse happened somewhere during or after a date to which they freely consented to. The truth is that no matter what the context was when forced sex happened, the victims are not at fault. Forced sex even after a date where both parties had a lot of fun, is still considered rape.

Usually, perpetrators of date rape try to get a girl drunk or may mix drugs like rohypnol and ketamine into their date’s drinks. This is called spiking. Since this very common, women should be mindful of the refreshments they’re taking. As much as possible, get your own drink, but if a date insists on being a gentleman and fetches you a glass or two, make sure your eyes don’t leave the drink, or better yet, watch while it is being prepared. If you do not trust your date yet or if you haven’t known him for very long, or if you have a bad feeling about him, do not take a sip of whatever he gives you even if it offends him. If his intentions are pure and he really likes you, he’ll understand if you explain why you are being cautious.

Even if you take precautions, bad things can still happen. If you become a victim of date rape, the best thing to do is to report the incident. Do not be quiet about it. You are helping yourself by seeking help and you are helping others by telling your story.

Some men dare push the envelope while others take the back seat and enjoy the ride. The few who are aggressors do not shy away from the idea of having sex with a woman during her menstruation period. Some are afraid of the mere thought of a bloody mess and will steer away from their partner in “that time of the month.” Surprisingly, there are positive reasons to have sex during her period, but there are also some really “messy” ones.

The fear of having a baby is probably more intimidating to some than a woman having her period. During menstruation a woman is less likely able to become impregnated. Most men see this as a great opportunity to give the new bed a test drive. However, there is still a chance that she could become pregnant. Sperm can survive for many days within a woman’s body. So you are still gambling with cooking up a baby. The oven may be getting serviced but it will definitely be ready to bake up a fresh baby cake (always pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees). It is still recommended to wear a condom, especially if you hardly know the girl. Be careful. Just because she is bleeding doesn’t mean that she is free of or unable to contract any diseases.

Women often feel bloated or are in pain during their period and would rather shoot you than have you poking around inside them. For this reason, it is not recommended that you push the idea of having sex too much. A female is very dangerous while menstruating and having your precious manhood ripped off “accidentally” would be a horrible casualty. So, before attempting anything, talk about it. Despite what you may think, some girls might want to have sex but it is appropriate and polite to talk about it first.

Some females do not know that sex, during menstruation actually helps ease pain caused by cramping. That’s right. One can cure pain through the enjoyment of sex. When a female orgasms, the uterus contracts. This causes excess prostaglandins to be used up. The prostaglandins are what force out the blood from your uterus and what cause the contractions implementing the cramps.

Instead of having sex without protection, some women feel confident using a diaphragm. In return, this will certainly reduce the mess. If you want to further reduce the mess, try putting a towel on the bed, the counter, the dryer or whatever you may be having sex on. A dark colored towel is preferred since traces of blood will show up less. In other words, a white towel would not be a wise decision. Then again, there are those who enjoy having sex in the shower and are not intimidated by the blood flowing into the drain. The shower scene from psycho wasn’t really about a stabbing was it? Alfred Hitchcock was really portraying something deeper.

This is a delicate subject for both men and women. The key to approaching this highly controversial topic is simple. The best way to handle anything in a relationship is communication. If you think she is so irresistible that a bloody mess won’t matter then go for it, but only if she gives the green light. If all else fails there is a back door, right? It might be less messy.
